Look What I Made: Lace Bow Necklaces

I am utterly besotted with lace jewelry. It is so romantic and feminine and gorgeous! I spend way too much time searching Etsy for the perfect appliques to make new pieces and if I didn’t have to use my money on pesky things like rent and food, I would never stop buying them. Alas, some element of restraint is necessary but fortunately for me I buy some new appliques and make them into jewelry like:

The Lace Bow and Obsidian Necklace So elegant and timeless, I could easily imagine Audrey Hepburn wearing this in some movie. Made from a lace applique of a bow, Obsidian gemstone beads and pewter accents, this necklace would be the perfect addition to special occasion outfits like Bridesmaid dresses, Prom gowns, or your favorite little black dress but could also work beautifully with a pretty sweater or blouse.

Lace Bow Necklace with Pink Swarovski Pearls: So pretty and feminine! Made of rosy pink Swarovski pearls and sterling silver accents, this is a perfect piece for ladies of all ages! It would be perfect for a bride to wear on her special day or for a little girl to wear with a party dress or Easter outfit.  It could even work for everyday wear with a pretty sweater or blouse.

About Ciarrai

Hi. My name is Kerry but here online I tend to go by the Gaelic version of my name, Ciarrai. I am a woman in my mid-30's who lives on Long Island, NY, with my husband, Rob, several guitars, a Nikon D40, more yarn, beads and books than I care to admit to and a cat who has a million nicknames and quite a few theme songs. I have a B.A. in Psychology and have recently returned to college to pursue a teaching degree so that I can eventually get a job as a High School English teacher. In addition to my major obsessions (Reading, Beading, Knitting, Music and Photography), I also enjoy playing Board Games, going to Renaissance Faires, Museums and Broadway Musicals.
